Is that like matching mother daughter dresses of yesteryear? I wouldn't do it.

I wouldn't. It doesn't seem like a good idea. How in the world would you keep the dog off of everything while the dye is soaking? That would be a hard task. And so would stopping them from cleaning it off. Doesn't sound like a task I would want to try.

no. If I didn't like my dogs color I probably wouldn't have gotten the dog to begin with.

I probably could, as my dog has white fur - I may get one of those hair-color sprays for Halloween and give him an orange stripe down his back.

I knew a girl in high school who dyed her white cat purple. As a result, the cat's name was Purple. We always knew when she did it, too - her arms looked like they had been through a shredder.

I would sure why not. If I feel comfortable to put it on myself then I would with my dog if I had one.

Agh. No way. I always cringe a little when I see people do that.

I personally wouldn't (don't even have a dog), and for the most part it looks really dumb to me, but for one-day stuff like holidays I'm cool with it. One of the groomers at my store put a purple, washes-right-out dye on her white dog for Halloween.

I don't have to dye his hair to match mine, because we both have black colored hair already. Even if his hair's a different color, there's no way I'll ever dye his hair, I won't even allow his groomer to paint his nails!!!

No those chemicals aren't good for humans and to put them on an animal seems cruel.

I might. There are nontoxic ways. I don't have any pets right now, but I could see myself doing something temporary for a halloween party or something. I wouldn't want to do it all the time though.

I've done it with kool-aid and just drawn on my dogs with non-toxic markers. It's great for halloween and other holidays!
