Anyways, no I would never ever get a piercing down there. I have really sensitive labia (if we're talking labial piercings, there are so many parts of the genitals that can be pierced) and no way would that work for me. Jeans alone cause a great deal of discomfort for me because they pinch my labia, and it seems unless I've been wearing dresses for the week, they stay sore! No way to piercing those.
As for my clitrois -- never. It's sensitive and just the stroke of a dry finger hurts and I would not want to ruin the sensation of sex/oral due to constantly having stimulation on my clitoris. I could just see this happening as a result, and in my case, I really think it would.
As for any other part of my vagina -- no. There are too many risks involved, I love my cooter just how it is, I think piercings are not usually attractive there, and can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Not sexy, in my opinion. I have other piercings, even had my nipples pierced, but downstairs bacteria is a whole nother ball game!
Anyways, no. I'm big on piercings and have always had a little obsession with getting my body parts pierced, but my cooter and tongue is one exception -- never.

I had the hood of my clit pierced. I tended to use it to get better access to my clit which meant I was pulling on it all the time. After a while it split the hood down the middle and it fell out. SO SAD. Now I can't get another one done and I miss it terribly.

I would not get one. I've seen way too many genital piercings that were done improperly... I'd be afraid of rejection, migration and nerve/tissue damage. If anything went wrong I'd be devastated, seriously.
