I have lived in a couple other countries in the past.... if I didn't have family obligations that kept me here I would be gone in a heartbeat. On my list of places I WILL live in the future: Greece, the Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, Thailand.

Although I love the two cities I trade between (Portland is home, New York is where school is), I am planning on going back to Germany for a year after I graduate to do research. I love the country, I love Berlin, and I love the language.

I really love where I live and I feel extremely blessed for the rights I have living in the US, but I would also love to live in Europe for awhile. We have a lot of friends scattered there and we miss them!

I'm fine here but if my boyfriend and I were married I'd be happy to follow him if he missed his birth country too much to be content.
I suppose if I had nothing tying me here though I would vaguely consider moving to Japan if I needed a change of pace so to speak.
But right now I'm glad I live in the USA.

I am Canadian, moved to Nunavut (still part of Canada, but it's just so... different!!! than the provinces) for two years, then packed myself up and moved to China ten years ago.

Of course I would pack myself up and move to a new country!!!! India, some of the countries in Africa, Laos... I prefer the colder climates and there are not that many developing nations there!

OH! Antarctica!!!

o.o Seems I won't be alone if me and my man move back to Ireland then. He keeps saying how much he misses it, he doesn't mention it often because he doesn't want to upset me (not that it does, he's just a sweetheart) but I know if we get married and he wants to go back I'll probably go along with it.

Ireland
Tropical Islands

I've only been out of the country once and it was just to Mexico, during a cruise I went on with my mother last year.

I greatly appreciate living in the USA. I would like to live abroad in any country for a maximum of a few years, but I always imagine spending my life in the USA (having a family, career, etc.).
