bagging groceries, worst job I've ever had.

I was a cashier at 7-11 when I was seventeen and no, I didn't like it.

I was a canvasser for an environmental organization. Basically, I went door to door asking for donations, was constantly threatened and screamed at, all in 90+ degree weather. So no, I didn't enjoy it.

I was a "pizza artist" at a pizza chain from the ages of 15-18. I enjoyed it some days. My main problem with my job was just some of my coworkers. Ugh.

I worked at an elementary school as a teacher's aide. I enjoyed it at the time because the teachers I worked for respected me and had their classrooms under control.

Library. Hated it at the time, but looking back it was pretty great.

Babysitting. I actually enjoyed it very much.

I was a cashier at a movie theater, and I haaaaaaaaaaaaaated it.

Worked as a temporary receptionist at an allergy clinic three days a week - the doctor catered to military so he moved clinics and I only worked at the one. I also administered asthma tests (ohthestoriesaboutthat )

The two ladies I worked with were... extremely unprofessional. They walked around with snack packets in their pockets an ate all day, they tried to flirt with the patients b/c as they told me they were trying to be hitched to a military man for the stability of their income / health insurance and wore stained scrubs. They lived together along with this... man who paid the bills and one of them had a daughter... and I heard stories about stripper parties and one of their boyfriends threatening to try and impregnate them if she tried to leave him and her threatening to 'shank' him and....

It was disturbing. Amusing but disturbing. The job was incredibly boring as well, I think the most difficult thing was keeping the file cabinet alphabetized b/c apparently they weren't intelligent enough to do it themselves. They just crammed the patient folders in there- and several patients had missing folders from bad filing etc etc etc

But I loved my boss xD he was this tiny little Indian man (Hindii Indian not Native American) who always lectured the other two ladies about their over eating and not eating healthy etc etc and he worked with my mom before that.

Quite recently I learned those two women were fired and may potentially be losing their license b/c they were using the doctors scrips to call in morphine, redirecting the pharmacy phone call from his phone to theirs then changing it back, picking up the filled scrips and selling them.

Six flags

I was a server at a local franchise pizza restaurant. I actually dreamt I was working there last night, for the first time in ages. I did not like it at all, it was poorly organized and generally chaotic.

It was at a national reserve place. I actually liked it.
