So if you guys haven't heard in Zanesville Ohio a guy had over 58 exotic animals from bears, to lions and he even had 18 tigers and wolves and monkeys on a little farm! Well the guy shot and killed himself and before he did that he let all his animals out of the cages so there were like 58 animals running around. Well the Police department just starting shooting to kill them, its actually pretty sad! They called in the Zoo to bring tranquilizer but they didn't use them they ended up killing all the animals. I heard that some where even on the property in a fence. I can't believe this! There was a picture showing all the dead animals lined up! This is horrible. What do you guys think? If you haven;t heard there are lots of things on Google that you can find. Also the guy had almost all these animals since birth and his wife use to be my math teacher a few years ago when I was still in school and she brought in a baby kangaroo it was so cute!

i saw this on the news this morning. i don't see why they couldn't tranquilize them. they didn't show the dead animals, which is ok, b/c idk if i could have handled seeing dead lions, tigers, & all those other large cats. i don't think he should have been allowed to have those animals in the 1st place. there should be a law put in place to prevent that, now.

They did try to tranquilize some animals, but the whole matter was handled terribly in my opinion. There's nothing that can excuse killing 18 Bengal tigers, nor the uncounted other endangered animals.

I saw this on the news this morning, it was really sad. I didn't hear anything about the animals being super aggressive or anything else that would have warranted just straight up shooting them, and while I admit that I haven't done much research on it, I think that they should have tried harder to tranquilize the animals first. And I agree that this man probably shouldn't have been allowed to have them in the first place.

My sister told me about this yesterday. She said she heard the polices excuse was it was dark out. Shut up, ugh. It makes me sick to think they killed all these creatures. They could have tranquilized them.
