I hate mixing drinks... so I really love the Bacardi Mojitos you can just pick up right at the store. I remember reading it was the "hit drink" of the summer for the fact it had less sugars and carbs than others out there.

Whenever I go out to dinner I just get your standard Jim Bean & coke... I actually order the coke and the whiskey separate, mainly to make sure I'm not getting skimped.

Mmm. Nothing beats a good margarita.

I never used to drink until this past year. Looking for ways to bond with hubby again and all that, so we picked out a few recipes off link and bought the stuff to make them. We usually pick a night during the weekend to have a few drinks together and play a board game or watch a movie we couldn't stand sober. I've found that I prefer the fruity and sweet mixed drinks. Daiquiris of all kinds are good to me (or at least the ones I've tried). My favorite drink would be multiple orgasms, since it's got the yummy Baily's Irish cream, Malibu coconut rum, and vodka in it. Also like Kyrptonite a lot.

I would not recommend anyone try Grim Reaper, as it is a frickin' nasty drink. it is 1 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur, 1 oz Bacardi 151, and a dash of Grenadine syrup. It looks cool when made right (you put the liqueur and rum in a glass, mix, then dump a cup of ice over it quickly splashing the syrup on the ice. It is supposed to turn the ice red and bloody looking on top of the darker drink), but it is the type of drink that burns your throat, tongue, and lips. My pet name for it is "Gasoline Coffee" just because that's what it reminds me of. lol Hubby got plastered off of two of these drinks.

I forgot Long Islands! Those are terrific, if made properly, and sadly, most bars don't make them properly!

I still remember the first time I had a Long Island. I was in a bar in Japan, being brutally made fun of. It was *great*.

My husband and I actually make our own beer at home. I belong to Eden and he belongs to the Dunedin Brewers Guild. I have a lot of respect for beer now. It's pretty amazing and makes a great hobby. We are always looking for new and unusual beers.
I love chocolate and coffee. Separate or in that order.
My favorite is a Dark chocolate Porter (11V). I had one tonight.
It's ok as long as I get up for my morning jog, then the calories don't count!

Homebrew is actually a very popular hobby in my neck of the woods. I can think of at least one local shop, which has homebrew equipment as half its inventory. I always wanted to try it. I've also always wanted to brew Dandelion wine, we have so many here...

I'm not much of a beer person... I just can't get over the smell. I haven't had very many homebrews though. Maybe I should look into this....

Sounds weird...but soaking gummy bears in tequlia or rum for a few days makes an awesome snack for parties...or I just have odd friends.

I like vodka best, usually mixed with some sort of fruit juice. If I drink it slow, I can get the best buzz without feeling anything in the morning. Most other alcohols make me sick too quickly.

The black cherry rum with coke is amazing. Tastes just like cherry coke.

microbrew's, good whisky, irish coffee. now you made me thirsty

white zifandale, or merlot with tonic water and fresh strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, or other fruit. The fruit soaks up the alcohol, and eating them is like a spicy shot after a mellow wine.

Screaming orgasms are my favorite right now. Got me some apple pie moonshine at Christmas I take shots of sometimes...
