Hello all. Stupid question, but can someone help me understand what circumference and diameter is for a sex toy? I know the definitions of the words from Math, but here, I'm not sure.

Circumference is the measurement around the toy at a certain point of the shaft, like taking a waist or neck measurement. I think they calculate diameter from there...

This is hard to verbalize now that I think about it...

The distance around a circle is called the circumference. The distance across a circle through the center is called the diameter.

Think of circumference as the girth of something.

If you only have one, you can calculate the others.

Circumference = diameter x pi (3.14...)
Diameter = circumference/pi (3.14...)
