I would, for a good friend either as a joke, or seriously if we had an appropriately close relationship. Granted, I wouldn't want to get something too specific because I don't know their tastes, but a more general item could make a fun gift.

I would, but only if I knew both sides of the couple would appreciate it and I could do it discretely. I might get a set of gag handcuffs, but anything more than that would rely on me being close with them. Helps that most of my friends buy their own toys.

I wouldn't unless it was my kids, in a educationnal purpose, so they can have them when they need them rather than have sex when all they want is getting off. And even then, I wouldn't be with them when they open them up, and I'd chose something very non sextoy-y, non intimidating, etc.
I'd feel out of place offering one to an adult that could go and reach out for one easily if they wanted them.
