Umm I'm not 100% sure. On one hand, I dont go around talking about what I do or others do at work, since I leave work talk at work. But I dont doubt it may be awkward at first having someone i know do porn.

I think it might be weird at first, but it would be pretty wild seeing someone you actually know. I've actually always thought it would be a big turn on, especially if it is someone you wouldn't think would be in a porn movie.

Honestly, it might be a little difficult befriending this person. I would think that they might have an aversion to making or having a lot of friends due to their profession. Knowing that many people do not approve of their choice in jobs, they would and should be leery of people that want to associate with them. I'm pretty sure that the celebrity/porn star doesn't want to deal with all the garbage that comes with people who would judge them and yet watch the performers work.
Anyway, to answer the question, as long as they are "normal", i.e. no drugs, crazy late and loud parties, etc..., people I would have no issue with the celebrity/porn star. I think it would be cool.

Do you mean a big name, well-known porn star, or just someone who happens to do movies? I know several of the latter. I don't watch anything with them in it, but it doesn't really phase me at all. I used to do some fetish type modeling, and it was pretty much the same deal. Some of my friends saw the pictures, most didn't, and no one cared.
There were some women who didn't want me around their boyfriends, but that's kind of par for the course.

I don't know anyone considered a porn star but I have a few friends who do porn for a few extra dollars when times are tough and it has never bothered me what they do as a day job.
