I had no idea that adultery was still a crime you could be charged with. But you have to check out this article I was just reading on AVN about the details surround a New York womans adultery charges.

I didn't realize you could be charged with that either. What amazed me was the range of penalties: from a $10 fine in one state to a life sentence in another??

Yeah, the range alone suggests that there is a problem with that law!

I've never heard of anyone actually getting this charge (I live in MI).

I kinda wish marriage would go back to the old ways: a business contract between two people.

Yes, it is a crime in my area and I'm so glad! It's actually pretty sad that there even has to be a law for that. Pluuh!
