Any one here familiar with Bitcoin? If so, what do you think about the idea of using Bitcoin to anonymously pay for adult sites and such things?

I just learned about Bitcoin earlier this week - so I'm surely no expert and have never used it. They do have valuation issues - so you open yourself up to currency fluctuations. I suppose if you are comfortable with the risk - give it a try.

They're a currency based on magic, which means as long as people keep believing in them, they'll be stable. It could be useful to buy and use them immediately, but over time they're more than a bit risky

"They're a currency based on magic, which means as long as people keep believing in them, they'll be stable." I agree with this statement, however, the same is true about the US dollar. We went off the gold standard in the 30's which means that there is nothing backing the dollar but faith. And if you break down the loan system of the Federal Reserve - all physical cash is actually of a negative value in debt.
