Did you change your Facebook profile to support Marriage Equality?

I support marriage equality but I have not changed my picture

Honestly, that whole equal sign stuff annoyed the heck out of me. I mean, yeah, the feelings behind it were genuine for some people, but its just.. its a lazy form of support. If you really support LGBTQ rights you should, I dunno, actually get INVOLVED instead of taking 2 seconds to change your facebook photo so you can feel good about yourself for being *open minded* and *supportive* of the gays.

Then I had to deal with all of my straight acquaintances scolding me for not being thankful for their being so UBER 'supportive' of the queer community. ..ugh (ahem. Pardon my mini-rant.)
