This video is really amazing. I cried watching it, bet you might too....

Watch it, tell others to watch it, and put your name on the petition if you're American. Well, as long as you agree, I guess....

I know. I've added this video to my blog and all my social networking sites. I can't understand this.

In Tennessee, a constitutional amendment was passed a while ago banning gay marriage. Now they are trying to pass an amendment to forbid those who are not married under the provisions of state law and state constitution, but who live together in a sexual relationship from adopting. Sad.

Petition signed! I honestly don't understand why people want to keep others from being happy, but it's sick.

I'm glad to see this message is getting around so fast.
We discussed it at work today. I was absolutely floored that some people think its perfectly acceptable to tell others who they may and who they may not marry....

HEH Try wanting to marry two men...it's perfectly ok for me to be with them both if none of us is married, or if two of us are cheating but wanting to be legal and honest???!!?? Perish the thought!

Recently laws in Oz have changed to give gay couples the same rights as heterosexual couples. This has meant that many gay couples are now much worse off financially than they were previously, as bizarrely no law has been passed to protect relationships (i think it is called a grandfather clause?) under the old laws, so now all relationships are subject to the new laws. In my circle this has meant that anyone who has been with someone for a year can essentially turn around and claim half of that person's stuff as well as half their future earnings. It is a system ripe for abuse. I'm not interested in being part of a wholly heterosexual, Christian based tradition, and i don't see why i should be disadvantaged because some members of the community want it. So i guess i'll be staying in the closet as far as the govt is concerned ..

I don't see what the big deal is...

Folks in the political system need to watch more Sesame Street or what ever when they say stuff after a fight "Can't we all just get along".

America is not free at all it never will be it's impossible. It's a lie, a big dream. That's why it's called the American Dream.. BC that is all it is a dream..

I got arrested inside a health clinic BC I was fighting for my rights as a patient to receive medication which I could afford and pay for but was denied my daily meds which I had been prescribed by my own dr. and had been taking for many months some of them for more than a year. But sadly I was held there by law (Backer Act, Which I sorta did my self) and could not go elsewhere with out the clinics dr. permission............ ...

The law is twisted and skewed.. And there are many, many holes in it. It takes lawyers and judges and politicians to understand it... I hope you never have to deal with it BC it's horrible.

You should see what the CIA got away with during the Cold War. Experiments on other CIA workers WITHOUT CONSENT. They gave them high doses of LSD in their food and coffee and monitored them. There was a documentary of this on the history channel.... The US Government also did many other things as well...

America sucks but I heard other places are worse so I stay here.

Wow, that sucks. Though, given human aptitude to cheat laws the best they can, I'm not altogether surprised.
