Are you morally against legalized prostitution? Do you think by making paid sex a mainstream and legitimate profession, it would prevent prostitutes from being killed, contracting diseases, etc- or do you think it would make the sexual health and deviancy of America worse?
Prostitution?

It should absolutely be legal. Any issues with sexual health have to do with people not taking the proper precautions and is not based on prostitution existing. As for deviancy, why is it considered deviant? Because of someone else's morals? Bah.

If the government made it legal and regulated it we would be out of debt in a week.
02/18/2012
Yes, legalize it.

All for legalizing it. It would be safer for the girls and the John's.

Why not legalize the "world's oldest profession?" Why isn't it legalized yet?
02/18/2012
I think it should be legalized.
02/18/2012
I have long been an advocate for legalizing prostitution.
02/18/2012
It should absolutely be legal. If it were, sex workers could be required to have regular STD tests and they would be much safer from being victimized.
02/18/2012
Definitely, it is done whether it's legal or not, if it was then at least it would be safer for everybody and there wouldn't be such a big mafia business about it, putting so many lives into danger and hell!

I don't care either way to be honest...

It wouldn't bother me if it was legal, just hope both parties are safe!

Its a crime that it isn't, it is a law that has no purpose then to force others into their ideological system. It will always be part of humanity and criminalization just creates criminals out of normal people and make organized crime thrive.

Morally, I say no. However, it's a lot like Prohibition I believe. Where it is legal in the US (not outside the US), the businesses can conduct themselves just without much problem. That being said, I do believe women and men should have to get a business license to do it.
02/19/2012
I say make it legal so it is safer for everyone involved and generate some tax revenue.
02/20/2012
Make it legal make it safe!
02/20/2012
Definitely legal. It gets a little bit sticky, but it's legal in other places and it WORKS. Also, Nevada. I think it would greatly cut down on prostitutes being victims of crimes of varying sorts, cut down on any STDs transmitted to or from sex workers, and all that other good stuff. Legalize it, set up brothels, tax the living hell out of it, profit!

Let's party!

Legalize it.

Legalise it, make it safer for everyone involved, get some tax money out of it.

As a feminist, people are always fucking shocked when I say I support legal prostitution. Women or men should be able to use their body as they please. Prostitution does not equate to sex trafficking or underage exploitation, however.
I support legal adults having sex with other legal adults for money if they wish to do so.

Right. And IRAs, retirement accounts and Social Security. Also, with the taxes on prostitution both the state and federal governments would only be helped and it would be easier to enforce age requirements, work hours, and sex workers would be a lot safer.
