The phrase "man crush" has become so entrenched in our culture that we've always just assumed that man crushes existed. But could they be a media/pop culture invention? I think some people confuse admiration with attraction.
I have female friends that laugh and tease every time that I make a new male friend. Honestly, it got old a long time ago. Just because guys respect each other and like to hang out does not mean that they are attracted to each other.
