Do you have, or would you take, an erotic profile picture for erotic social networks or kinky dating sites?

In today's SexIs article "How to Take the Perfect Kinky Profile Pic" by Midori, she interviews Mark I. Chester, a sex photographer. Mark gives pointers on how to take the perfect kinky profile pic, and things to consider before doing it.

And I'm curious....

Would you do it? Have you done it? What did you think of Mark's pointers? Do you have any additional pointers to add?

My sister and I took pictures of each other for our boyfriends. We were inspired by our mother's stories of the military wives on base who got together to make tasteful pictures for their husbands at war. They would do things like wear a clear raincoat over an itty bitty bikini and hold a clear umbrella. Having someone there I trust and could be silly with definitely made it easier to relax and try different poses. The other plus was we doubled our wardrobe options by using things from both our boudoirs. I can't say I'd share those shots on a dating site. The closest I got to putting a kinky shot on a dating site was a pic of me at Carnaval. In it I was using Chester's tip of wearing a mask.

Or just attend an EF holiday party and goad each other into making them. My avatar still hasn't recovered from the St. Pat's Day party.

This is the only place I'd post such pictures. Otherwise, I just make them myself (using a tripod for a timed-photo camera) to practice portraiture. Apparently my ten-seconds-of-prep-ti me-to-pose is good enough for my Master.

I suspect my corset photos here will come back to haunt me someday (as my face does show), but maybe I can claim they're my cousin R.

Personally, I could never do it. But I found the article very interesting, and the pointers great!

Done it.. as you can see here

His tips are great. So many things can go into making a perfect picture. I have photographed friends that have little self esteem when it comes to their body and they have come out amazing. The right light and angles can do amazing things

I've been considering getting nude photos taken, since I know a professional photographer who does that sort of thing. She did mention the publicity of it all, and wanted me to be sure I'd be okay with it if people found out, before I go through with it. That nervousness, and the nervousness of being naked in front of someone who isn't my boyfriend, is holding me back. I do want to experiment with nude photos done by myself, though. Those I won't be sharing online!
