Yes, that Leonard Nimoy!

I ran across this a while ago, but just thought about it again today. Leonard Nimoy apparently has devoted a lot of time to being a photographer, and one of his projects (now available in book form) is one called the Full Body Project which explores full bodied women. While not necessarily particularly sexual, I think the book/project is pretty interesting from a cultural/aesthetic standpoint. Thoughts?

I just saw this post. That is awesome, this is awesome! Leonard Nimoy Rules! When I was a little kid, I was a huge fan. I once caught a box turtle, that I kept in my back yard inside a tractor tire. I named him Leonard in honor of Mr. Nimoy. I never liked Star Trek, but In Search Of... was one of my all time favorite shows. I can still remember the terror I felt after watching the killer bees episode when I was 8 or 9, oh that Leonard Nimoy! I would look to read his book about the curvy girls.

I recently caught the tail end of Leonard Nimoy talking about this on NPR (I am assuming it was NPR). He is awesome. He should have painted one of the April Flores Pussies! Now wouldn't that have totally put an even crazier spin on the art show? Ha!

I actually thought about that - because George Pitts (one of the NY artists) is putting out a photo book of voluptuous women.

I'm betting a Leonard Nimoy painted April Flores pussy could have raised a lot of money for some sort of charity!

I don't really know much about Leonard Nimoy, but I agree... he should have painted one. Who knows, the show may continue.
