R.I.P. Helen Gurley Brown (February 18, 1922 – August 13, 2012)

The lady who gave us Sex and the Single Girl then took on the editorial reins of Cosmopolitan Magazine for over thirty years (1965-1997) has passed away at the age of 90. An advocate of women's sexual freedom before it became all the rage,Helen_Gurley_Brown did much to change not only the world of publishing, but also women's role in society.
