I think freedom and expression are good things. And too much censorship is bad. At the same time however I feel younger kids are viewing inappropiate things on tv...and the younger entertainers are going too far. SEx is awesome but once your an adult

Yes, there are, and yes there should be.

I don't think that the guidelines are stringent enough, though.

I don't watch much TV. I actually find it a bit upsetting, how sexual shows can be, which is why I tend to avoid watching the tube. Maybe I'm a huge prude or maybe I get enough sexiness elsewhere.

Actually, I think having younger siblings (18, 15, and 5) plays a significant part in why I feel this way. Whenever my 15-year-old sister (very mature for her age; we joke that she should have been the older sister) wants to watch something "questionable" I'll sit down and watch it with her and discuss what happens during the show or movie afterward. Most recently we watched and discussed the movie Towelhead, if you're curious.

What I know for sure is that I can stand more violence than sexiness in shows and movies, so I stick to watching Dexter mostly.
