What do you think of Stoya?

I don't know...I think she is kinda meh...I have not enjoyed any of the scenes I have seen her in. She seems not into it and just boring. She just doesn't do it for me...I find her conversation repetitive. For as smarty pants as she plays herself off to be, I would expect more. I think Kayden Kross is the perfect balance of porn star and smart girl. Will be expecting harsh comments to come...ha! less

I'm just wondering what the general climate is out there on Stoya. I recently discovered her because of her friendship with Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer, so that's an automatic plus in my book. But I'm just curious about your thoughts on her. I follow her blog and think she has a lot of really intelligent, thought-out things to say, and I like hearing her commentary on porn and the industry, as well as what she's reading. Really? I've always thought that she seems to have a really good time doing what she's doing in her scenes...in fact, that's what you always hear from people who like Stoya--she seems genuine and into it.

I respect her--I think she is intelligent and clearly comfortable with what she does, and it's refreshing, since so many adult stars (especially women) are perceived as bimbos who only do what the do for the money, and because they are victims of sexual abuse, and so have low self-esteem.

And as a skinny, small-chested woman, I am happy that a woman of her stature is considered so sexy--she's a great example that you don't have to be curvy and voluptuous to be hot.

Honestly, her films have inspired me in the bedroom before, and the results were awesome. I'm a straight chick, but if I were to have a lesbian experience, Stoya would be my dream girl--I'd even consider bringing her into the bedroom as a third. less

Maybe I've just not seen her best. What is your favorite of her scenes? I just find her to be trying too hard to be not the typical porn girl, from reading her twitter and some interviews. It just feels forced to me, but that is based on once scene, which could have been due to other circumstances. I do think she is pretty to look at, and has a nice body, I didn't enjoy what I have seen of her performances. I really wanted to be into her, and so did my boyfriend after hearing all the hype. Then we watched her and it was meh...like this is what all the fuss is about? I do agree one does not have to be voluptuous to be hot, but I just am not into her. Hmm...I can't remember names of videos, because I usually just look up what I can find on YouPorn or Fantasi.cc. The first one I saw of hers was with James Deen. She was laying in this pet bed wearing a corset and fishnets that were ripped open at the crotch. She was being playful with him, batting at his keys, and licking milk out of a bowel like a cat.
