This is an old thread, but if you're still looking, my favorite is Louisa Burton's House of Dark Delights series. It's about a group of immortals who live in a castle in France, and each book has a couple of related stories that jump around in time. She weaves lots of mythology into them, the characters are well-written, and I think the sex is amazingly hot.
