Hi,
Well, you can use an anal douche system. You use it to push water into your rectum and you repeat until the water comes out clean. I have never used one, but go read the reviews and compare the different options.
Don't forget to get a very good lubricant recommended for anal play and use plenty of it.
Have fun!

As Kynky Kytty said, you can always use an enema. For me, post-enema I tend to feel almost TOO clean in that it is sort of bare and dry, which makes me think an enema might make the anal sex more painful or at least require extra lube.
My general philosophy is "cupcakes don't come out of there" and just accept fecal matter as something that happens and is always able to just be washed off but I realize that probably isn't most people stance on it.

That's actually my stance on it, even though I "give" more than I "take" when it comes to anal. My boyfriend insists on cleaning himself thoroughly beforehand, but when I'm on the receiving end, as long as I've voided (and voided cleanly) beforehand and feel up to it, I'm pretty ambivalent about being squeaky clean. When I'm on the giving end, I have accepted that I am sticking a dildo into an anus, so it's not a surprise when the dildo doesn't smell like daisies when we're done.

ANYWAY. lisamarie, if you want to be super clean, an enema's probably the way to go. I've never used one and don't really plan on it, but if you're really paranoid about fecal traces... You can always try it once, just to see if that makes you more comfortable during anal sex with your man. Make sure you lube up really well!

I usually give myself a full hour after an enema to make sure i'm "empty" and then another hour before funtime, I always use a good lube that we've warmed up buy letting the bottle sit in hot water. go slow and as a rule of thumb we abide the 3 fingers in or no wang, lol

I was wondering about all of this also. I'm getting an anal training kit to review so, any and all suggestions will be helpful. I'm not really experienced with anal. Oh, I also ordered the book link maybe that will help.

I'm really into the idea of anal and have gotten a bunch of toys, anal warming lube and an enema kit. Funny enough I'm planning on trying some of these this week so I can write a few reviews. I can send you a message about how it goes afterwards. Honestly though I've played with anal a bit before and what I did with an ex that wanted to play (although we didnt get to do much since it was my first time and in hindsight we didnt "prepare" me the right way), I limited my intake of food for the night before and the entire day and made sure to go to the bathroom (you could always take a laxative altho I didnt) and then took a nice long shower where I experimented with myself and stuck a finger up my ass with just a trace of suds in order to "clean" it (mind you I was much younger then and not really into doing research for sex) and just stuck my finger as far as I could bear and made sure it came out clean. You could try it that way first, and if you don't feel comfortable, an enema kit with some warming anal lube may be the best way. I'm actually a bit excited for the enema kit while also being scared because I've never done one but you dont know until you try! Good luck!

First time:
Laxative = no (many can cause cramping or other intestinal "upset" for a while after use).
Warming lube = probably not. You don't want to put something in your anus that is uncomfortable or causes irritation (see laxative above as well). Check your lube a day or so before you try anal too, so you can find out if you're sensitive to anything in the lube beforehand (burning butt = no fun).
Enema = possibly if you're concerned about cleanliness. Use only about 8-10 fluid ounces of plain warm water at a time, two or three times. Give yourself about an hour afterwards to settle down. This can actually help lubrication, since the water helps loosen up intestinal mucous and makes it slipperier. Remember YOU STILL NEED LUBE!
Condom: Probably be a good idea. Helps to smooth out the penis and keeps semen out of your bottom, also helps to keep the penis clean. It also helps prevent the spread of STI/STDs.
The finger (or dildo) first is a good way to check.

Phoenix Fire, Just wondering which warming lube and enema kit you have? I'm thinking maybe I should order some also. I think I'm making myself nervous.

From the female side, I second this advice. If you use an enema, something like a Fleet available at a CVS, do dispose of the solution and replace with warm water. And as mentioned above, do this more then once, if necessary, until you void clear.

Above all stay away from laxatives, you don't need a problem from a situation that can otherwise provide pleasure.
Lube, lube, lube.......
Do practice with butt plugs, Joly Jack is great as are most dils with a flared base.
My b/f uses a condom for anal as I do on a dil when I peg him. I am just more comfortable this way and no mess if no early prep was done.
At this point, I just "know" and "feel" if I am ready to receive anal sex.
Above all, go slow and listen to your partner who is being penetrated.
Overall, anal sex can be an awesome experience or a complete pain in the butt!!
Enjoy!!
