I had a 3 year relationship start with a very passionate hookup. My other relationships, including with my wife, started with us meeting while pursuing common interests (school, work, skiing).

Hookups tend to be all about sexual chemistry and you can have that with someone you'd never want to have a relationship with. But when you meet and find you get along with each other in a non-sexual way first, and then you find you also have sexual chemistry, I think it's more likely that you'll have a good relationship.

But if you have a hookup, why not try to see if you can get along vertically as well as horizontally? It's certainly possible.

Of course they CAN but that doesn't mean it will. Especially if you are hooking up with a real jerk Sometimes, there is a reason someone was just a hook up!

its possible, but it really depends on the people. dont think you can make it something it isnt, because it really is just a booty call now.

It's possible. Not something I would get my hopes up to happen. I read somewhere once that said I think it was 1 out 10 hookups lead to a relationship and chances of it working out wasn't high either. But it is possible.

Absolutely, yes.

A friend of mine met her now husband on a one night stand. They hooked up after meeting at a bar, neither intending to ever see each other one again. Fast forward 4 years, and they will soon be celebrating their first anniversary as husband and wife.
