Just make sure to have time in which there isn't sex so you can talk and connect. Maybe go to a concert or museum or whatever you both like, something that requires walking and sharing thoughts and ideas. Master and I did a lot of walking by taking in the space center, the local zoo, the historic districts, and the veterans' museum ... we learned a lot more about each other during that than just spending his whole visit in his hotel room.

Also, just be aware that sometimes the chemistry doesn't work out in person. It probably will work out, but keep it in mind so you won't get caught off guard in case it doesn't.

Be clear on what you want. Don't expect any mind-reading.
Also, be mindful that they may be tired and drained and may not be ready to romp as soon as you are.

Take time to relax and talk, find out about them.
Don't just jump into sex, and learn to adore the person you've fallen for.

I've been in a long distance relationship for over a year now, and it can be extremely trying at times. I agree that it's important to spend time together that's not all about sex (as much as I just want to jump on top of him when he walks in the door). He's a tattoo artist, so visits often include a trip to his shop, which is nice because it gives us time to talk in a non-bedroom setting, and I get my tats touched us at the same time.

We also made up this list of all the crazy places that we'd like to have sex, so we set aside a whole day (or 2) every month to travel to one of the places on our list. I always look forward to our little road trips, and it gives us a fun shared experience, as well as an awesome adventurous sex life.

Long distance sucks. My girlfriend and I went to college a few hours away so we could only see each other over breaks and maybe once a month (hard to be working, going to school, and dating from afar). I agree with other posters that spending time together is really important during the visit. Now that I finally live with my gf it feels great just to wake up next to her, to go for a walk, or watch a movie and know that we have time to kill.

If you are dating long distance any sex should be awesome, but I love it when my gf surprises me with a new piece of lingerie or a new toy we can use together so you might want to go that route to mak things extra special. Or just going out to do things like see a concert might make the visit more special as long as time is set aside for being alone together.

For closing the distance we also found that phone sex was a good idea. Obviously not as good as the real thing but it shows that you are still sexually committed to each others' pleasure.

Gonna repeat what others are saying here, make plenty of time to just hang out and really get to know one another better. Sex is nice but it can't be the whole foundation of a relationship. For all you know it'll turn out that you two are vastly incompatible with each other. (hoping it goes well for you though =3 )
