Will you describe your first date?

Um, amazing! And so simple...

So we met at a grocery store. In line. (What are the chances!) I laughed at his completely stupid joke, he complimented me on how happy my laugh sounded, we exchanged numbers.

Two days later he invited me to come watch him play in a men's softball tournament. He invited me only for the last 2 innings of it so I wouldn't get bored sitting alone. I went and watched him play (he was a total stud). And then, after everyone left when the game ended, we stayed and played catch and did some hitting and laughing on the field under the lights. Our first kiss was in the moonlight and lights on the pitchers mound =D It was so fun, light hearted, and unique. A fantastic first connection, and we have been together ever since!

Technically it was the night we re-met.

We knew each other back in high school since we ran around with the same group, but we never dated (apparently, he wanted to, but the rest of the guys were cock-blocking him). We still hung around after high school for a bit, then the group broke up as we went on with our lives. The last time he and I saw each other was at The Rocky Horror Picture Show and I did a Tarot reading for him (it was a very depressing reading).

We met again fifteen years later at a mutual friend's party, and we spent the evening talking (during the talking, he mentioned the reading all came true). Then he leaned over and kissed me and said he's been wanting to do that since our junior year. We ... ended up being that token couple making out at the party.

That was exactly four months ago and we pretty much want a future together after we get things squared away in our lives (and say the "L"-word), although the Child Issue will likely ruin any chance of having one.
