I know that when I am on the market to date someone, I have a very clear type of person I look for, especially when it comes to men - when it comes to women, I prefer a broader spectrum of appearances and personality types. However, in men, I like tall, broad men with long hair and that definitely look like the bad boy, though it's rarely more than appearance. They're also all blue-collar, seemingly quiet and shy, and tend to be either classic car collectors or bikers. You could line up a hundred men and if one of them were to fit that profile, not only would I immediately choose him, most of my friends could also pinpoint that person as the one for me since I have such a long history with those traits.

Am I the only one with such a strong attraction toward a physical or character traits? Do you think it's more common to have a specific type or not?

Everyone has a punchlist of criteria in their head of what is ideal for themselves, or what is most stimulating to them. I used to prefeer blodes with leather, but after dating a black woman, my views changed. It is the character of a person you really fall in love with, looks are the lure to attract you.

When it comes to men, I like them big and tall...and I like women shorter and curvy, for some reason. Most of the people I got for are pierced/tattooed as well. I never really thought about it much but it kind of dawned on me one day.

I've never really put much thought into it before. I do generally find guys with darker hair and lighter eyes to be hopelessly attractive. Like my husband has dark brown, pretty much black hair, and eyes that have been compared to a huskey's. Yum.

I can think of several "types" of people that I often find attractive. Lean, toned, kinda lanky men. Androgynous people of many genders. Curvy, dark-haired women. People who do the "punk" style well (can be hairstyle, clothing, piercings, any combination). Men who look a little more feminine than the average guy. Thinner women with pixie haircuts. I like lotsa types of people.

I really don't have a type. I have had many partners in the past. They were all different types. Though I do tend to like country boys, ghetto boys, bikers, or all around bad boys really. But it really depends on their personality more then anything.

Tall, dark-haired, glasses, facial regrowth, pale, lanky geek boys.

Which is really weird if I think about it, as I've never been with anyone who was.

Dark haired, intellectual, thinish but fit, toned body. Anywhere from 5'8-6'. And most importantly: their smile has to be infectuous to me.
