Yep, it's nice to lower the pressure on the early dates, or as a good way of hanging out with a couple you don't get that many chances to see

I love double dating. It is that much more laughing and story telling than a regular date, and at the end of the night, I am always more attracted to my date than before. I am not sure why that is, but always!

I enjoyed it in HS - and 40 years later it's still fun. We have plenty of time alone - sharing the time with friends is worth a little extra effort.

I dont like it. I like to get to know my date, and it is easier to go out by ourselves. at least it was when I was dating.

I love double dating, except for when we go with couples that fight constantly. It makes me feel very uncomfortable and it's awkward.

For me it depends on the other couple, but generally I like double dating if I kind of know the other 2 well enough and it's not a major holiday we're double dating on... (valentines/anniversar y/etc)
