I didn't have a high school sweetheart in the standard definition - you know, lock eyes over the science textbook and instantly fall in love...the people I dated while I was in school had already graduated.

Nope, don't miss him. He's bipolar, married another busty snarky redhead who wears glasses, has a kid he named Korbin Dallas, researches squids, and his mother hated me to the point of holding his college money hostage if he didn't dump me. Glad I dodged that bullet.

We were long-distance sweethearts. We realized we weren't right for each other and broke up soon after high school, but we have stayed good friends and still talk at least once a week.

I've moved on but she contacted me not that long ago and still considers our relationship all those years ago to have been her best one...
