If you were dating someone and they didn't like your use of toys (together or not) would you give them up? Or try to convince them they're okay? Or even cut down on how many you have? Just curious what people that have toys would do when they first get serious with someone if this happened

I'd give up the person I'm dating, not my toys. If they can't accept a certain part of me (I'm not even going to admit how large that part is), they aren't good news. What other parts of me would they want to change?

My partner isn't entirely accepting of them (as in, actively wanting to use them during sex), but he isn't going to say that I should get rid of them. I'm okay with this.

If he didn't like using them together I'd be fine with that. But if he said not at all I'd have a problem with it. I can't get off alone without toys and we'd have to figure out a compromise cause I wouldn't get rid of them entirely.

i would either sit down & talk to them to find out y they don't like me using them, make sure i understand what they're saying, then reassure them, or tell them how i feel or how that makes me feel. if they still feel that way in the end, i'd just tell them to get over it.

I would try to ease them into toys and if I couldnt I would keep them anyway and get rid of that person. If they are that insecure about something with batteries can you imagine how they would be down the line about other things.

There is a poll and thread about this somewhere. I couldn't find it, though. If the person I'm with loves me and wants me to be happy they wouldn't ask me to give up any sex toys.
