I know that the answer is "whenever it feels right", but what is that average for you guys? If you are engaged or thinking of getting engaged, what is the time frame you are thinking about?


I'm 19 months into my relationship and I said I'll wait till after the 2 year mark to really start thinking about things.

We skipped getting engaged. I was never proposed to, but we knew from the start that we wanted to marry each other. We waited to get married for 4 years, which does bother me. He should of married me 2 years sooner after I had our son.

After like 3 months my bf gave me a ring on a necklace and told me he knew he wanted to marry me, now 3 and a half ears later he's saving up for (or has already purchaced? He won't tell me...) a "real" ring, he hates the first one he gave me and were gonna start planning a wedding
