i rarely date. im shy i would only meet someone new once a year and go on a few dates with them. I'm really shy. i usually get introduced by a family member or friend. how do you meet new people and have you ever tried a dating site?

I try to meet people whenever I can. Strangely enough, I've been meeting people on FB through friends. I have only been out on two dates, both met on POF.com

@michael- My advice to you is to get out there. Even though you're shy, step out of your element a bit. Shy is cute, girls dig it. But they've got to meet you to know you're shy and to dig you for it. If you're over 21, go to the bar every once and a while. Drunk girls love everyone.
@JR- Well you certainly aren't gonna find someone now that you've moved to the sticks! You are too far from mass civilization!
