Sharing Clothing

Contributor: ~LaUr3n~ ~LaUr3n~
My boyfriend went to get a clear shirt out of the laundry and half way through putting it on...he got stuck...because it was my shirt. This just happened and I'm still laughing! So, it prompted me to ask the question...do you and your partner ever share clothing? What kinds of things do you share?

I have given my boyfriend my larger shirts and we sometimes share hoodies. But other than that...we don't.

Well, we are REALLY very different when it comes to size, so I could never wear anything of his out in public. And he would NEVER fit into anything I own, haha.

But I do have a collection of his undershirts that I sleep in and snuggle with. They smell like him

I sometimes wear his pajama pants because they're comfy and sometimes his hoodies if we're out and I get cold. Other than that nope.

I've worn hoodies and a tshirt a couple of times. I had to wear a pair of shorts after swimming once but nothing other than the unisex basics (tanks, shorts)

Never had a chance (ex-husband too big, Mulder too small). I've daydreamed about wearing his (whomever he ends up being) button-up shirt around the house.

They're comfy!

She just has one shirt of mine.

I never wore my ex's clothing, but she did wear mine. She once borrowed a turtle neck of mine and occasional sweaters and shirts. Boxers and pajama bottoms, too. But other than that, nothing else, really.

My bf and I can share clothes, except pants i wear are too big on him (I'm taller.) I wear men's clothing and shoes, and he wears about the same shoe I do, so we can swap them as well. It all works out quite nicely.

If a shirt fits wear it hahaha... that explains why I went out of the house today with a V neck with the words juicy across my chest... went well with the matching tag on my ass that said "Spicy!"

I steal his hoodies because they're warm and cozy, and will occasionally grab a pair of his boxers or pj pants when I'm just wandering around the house. He wouldn't fit into anything of mine though.

My Man is 14 or 15 inches taller than me and at least 80 lbs heavier. He has NEVER worn anything of mine. A few times, a pair of my jeans have got into his closet by mistake and he couldn't even get them past his calves and we laughed about that.

I have occasionally worn his flannel shirts. Once, when I was pregnant and had nothing to wear and was cold, I put on a pair of his long johns, with the "boy door" on it, and he said it was freaking him out. The big belly with the "package" opening in front. So, I didn't do that again.

For the most part, most of my clothes are pretty femmy, and they wouldn't fit him, his clothes are pretty vanilla "guy stuff" flannels, weird T shirts, jeans and Dockers, so we rarely do this. I used to wear T Shirts to bed, but I switched to pretty nightgowns about 10-15 years ago, and like these better.

I've always wanted to put on one of his white buttoned dress shirts, with noting under it, on after sex. But, he dresses up so rarely, I don't get the chance. I think that looks really sexy. At least just for the two of you.

Oh, I forgot. Once, when I was having post partum depression and really sad, My Man put on one of my maternity dresses, with a pillow under the belly and just came down stairs, cracked a beer and sat down, lit a cigarette and started watching the game. It was hilarious. It was the first time I had laughed in days. I even forgave the cigarette in the house, because it was so funny. But, aside from wearing the same dress one Halloween, it's never happened again.

And, he stretched out the band around the chest of the dress and ripped the straps. It's OK, it was a decade before I got pregnant again, so the dress was well out of style.

I have worn my boyfriend's pajama pants or t-shirts to bed if I forgot mine or if they are in the wash, but his clothes are way too big for me to wear in any other way.

I had an ex where we could wear the same clothes. I wore quite a few of his shirt/sweatshirts/boxe rs, etc.

The wife wears my shirts/hoodies all the time. I have had those times when I come out wearing her shirt and ask "are you sure this is mine?" We have a lot of shirts that are the same just different sizes and it is easy to get them mixed up.

He's worn a couple of my hoodies, but that's about it since he's so much bigger than me that nothing else would fit him. I wear his boxers as shorts, snarf his hoodies sometimes, and wear his t-shirts to work a lot. A few of his shirts that he had been given in the past he doesn't wear anymore since she liked them tight fitting and he didn't got passed to me, but I don't think they're still in the closet anymore.

I love it when she wears my shirts...cuz that's about all I have that she CAN wear. She is a lot smaller than me, so it doesn't quite go the other way for me. Oh well...

His shirts are usually warmer/cozier than my usual attire, too. I kinda like wandering around in just his shirt and my underwear. I stole a pair of boxers once...but it just wasn't for me.

I share clothing with my partner most of the time, I share a lot of my clothes with my girlfriend, we're about the same size, and although we don't have exactly the same taste it's a nice bonus to dating her to basically have doubled our wardrobes.

My previous partner (who was biologically male, but genderqueer) used to borrow my skirts and I used to borrow his

Haha, people always make jokes about queer folks and the whole "doubling your wardrobe" thing but it's kind of true. My past girlfriends (with the exception of one who was a bigger girl who I couldn't share most clothes with) and I definitely swapped clothes often. I actually lost some of my favorite shirts that way...(sigh)

My partner now is male and I steal his big sweaters and over-sized shirts constantly. Every now and again he'll borrow a tee shirt of mine if it's on the bigger side, but for the most part the borrowing is a one way street in our relationship He does use a lot of my cosmetic stuff though, like lotions and hair stuff. I think he can't own up to the fact that he kind of likes using that stuff, so I'll periodically "forget" hair balm at his place sometimes for his benefit, hah.

I am so much shorter and smaller than both my guys that they can't wear my shirts, pants or underwear. (threw the last one in for the reaction value from the guys) I have borrowed shirts from them though, they make great sleep shirts. Even better if they smell like the guy who owns it...weirds me out if they smell like the guy who doesn't own it. (can you tell they are reading this over my shoulder?)
Sigel has used my hideous but so damn comfortable bath robe though...which is funny as hell cause it is HIDEOUS pink, but even Monkey (the baby) loves it. We have shared jackets or unisex cardigans and socks. Ahhhhh the joys of Sox!

You should really freak him out. Get a harness and wear a packing dildo with his longjohn's or HEY your favorite dildo peaking out the open barn door! OMG the hilarity.

That would be even funnier if I were pregnant! Hahahaahaaa!

If I could fit The Body vibe into it. I think he would run.

It is a seriously intimidating looking dick.
