I made out with a girl that smoked at a party before. It was pretty gross but she was very hot so I just powered through it. It even tasted a bit minty so whatever she did to try to get rid of the smoke taste didn't work.
I won't date girls who smoke. Not really much of a problem for me as I live in Cali and not many people smoke here. With all we know about smoking, to choose to do so is weird to me. I don't get it.

Yes. I'm an ex-smoker though so as long as she encouraged me not to pick it up again, I don't mind.

I used to not care... but as I get older, cigarette smoke annoys me more and more. I can't say it would be a deal breaker, but right now it would be tough. The cigarette smell is up there with morning breathe.

I'm a ex-smoker and my husband is a smoker, so yeah, if hubby ever says we can have a female part in a threesome, I won't mind at all.

Probably not. The smoke makes me feel ill and I'd rather not deal with that.

I don't mind at all. I'm a smoker and my girlfriend is an ex/occasional smoker.
It's good to know that my partner knows what it's like to quit and won't force the change, but will be supportive.

Date - one of the major reasons I divorced my first wife is that she took up smoking. It got me thinking that there was little chance that we were growing together - but were growing apart.

Since I am a non-smoker, I prefer dating non-smokers. My first bf was a smoker and it became too annoying with him randomly having to leave to smoke. Like really? You cannot sit through a whole movie without having to smoke 2-3 times?!

I really dislike the smell of smoke, especially stale. Would you date someone's who's smelly? It would probably turn you off.

I don't have a problem with it. I smoke a cigar once in a while or cherry cordial tobacco in my pipe once a month or so.

Both my girlfriend and hubby both smoke. Hubby and I have moved to e-cigs (the electronic cigarettes) but it doesn't bother me that she smokes, and I've never minded even when I didn't smoke. It's not a turn-on, but isn't a turn-off either.

I really, really hate the smell of cigarette smoke, so I don't think I could unless it was very occasional (like, not an every day thing). My dad smoked like a chimney for years and I hated the way the house smelled, and the way I smelled as a result of living here. It's annoying and embarrassing when people assume you smoke when you don't.

I have a bunch of friends who smoke and I was fine with that, but dating someone who smokes would really bother me.

I did and I smoked at the time. Now that I quit, I can't imagine dating someone who tasted like, smelled like ashes and would give me the temptation to start again.
