What's in your "Walk of Shame" kit?

Contributor: Blinker Blinker
I've seen several makeup companies that make "walk of shame" kits. They usually include concealer, lip balm, Q-tips, a pair of panties and sunglasses. This made me think of how convenient it would be to get one of these before when I was playing the field, but then again, I always had an overnight bag in my car.

It was a bag full of flip flops, panties, pads/tampons, toothbrush, a knife, handcuffs, gum, change of clothes, morning after pills, lube, makeup and cleansing cloths, plus travel bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

What about you guys? What was in your overnight bag for hook ups? Or did you even have one?

I never had one because I was never really into casual sex like that. But, when I was younger I usually had a couple changes of clothes in my car. I'd have a casual outfit, a party outfit and a work outfit in there and almost all my shoes ended up in my trunk so those were at the ready. I also always kept tampons in my car and make up was in my purse and I had a tooth brush in there too so that I could brush my teeth at work before going out. I was out a lot and there were times I wouldn't go back home for a few days if I was sleeping at a friend's house or a boyfriend's house and so I would just have stuff on hand. So, I guess I kind of had something like it without really having one.

Having driven across the country, I have a fairly good idea of what should be in a bag like that, even though I've never had a walk of shame kit. If there is nobody in the backseat, it should ideally go there, but if not, on the drivers side of the trunk...:

A toothbrush, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, flip flops, at least one full change of clothing, a sweater in spring/autumn, blanket, something that can be used as a pillow, ibuprofen, at least $30 in cash (what if you lose your wallet at some point during the night?), bandaids, a day's worth of whatever prescription pills you take on a daily basis, tampons, a bathing suit, tweezers, lipstick/gloss, gum, sunglasses.

The most I ever bring is a change of clothes. I just go straight home in the morning to shower etc.

I'd just head home wearing what I wore the night before, my hair all fucked up, eye make-up smudged all over - oh yeah, it's hot. lol
The "walk of shame" was more like a "swagger of satisfaction" for me.
Then again...maybe my idea of "casual" sex is a bit TOO casual...

When I was younger I lived on a dirt road so anything I put in my car had a thick layer of choking dust on it. I usually kept a change of clothes at Sigel's house. I rarely do casual anything...let alone sex. I do pack a bag when i visit Arch but that's usually a 3-6 month visit.

We referred to his as a ho-bag in my circle at the time I always had an overnight bag with a change of clothes, a sexy pair of panties (so I didn't end up being bridget jones, caught in spanx), feminine products, condoms, deodorant, basic makeup, soap, shampoo, hairbrush, and toothbrush and toothpaste.

What's a 'Walk of Shame'?

Well, my overnight bags usually include...

Deodorant, first and foremost. My cologne, my toothbrush and toothpaste, a shirt, a pair of underwear, and that's all for my special needs. Then we come to the other things...which usually include some form of collar (or three), a few pairs of cuffs, squirty bath toys, bubble bath solution, maybe some rope, a paddle or flogger (or both), nipple clamps, a blindfold, and maybe a spreader bar.

Mind you, this is if I am going on a trip with someone that I am actually with. If it was someone who I was simply just "hooking up" with, then my belt and hands suffice as an implement, and I can keep a person's wrists together if need be.

It's referring to the "walking home" a woman does after a one night stand, usually. Your hair is a mess, your make up is gone or smeared, you have on Going Out At Night Clothes and Heels in the morning etc.

Some women call it a "Walk of Shame" But, I like "Swagger of Satisfaction" better. I've never had a One Night Stand (slept with guys ONE time, but always knew them first. I don't think it's the same thing) so I never had one of these kits.

I always had panties and some make up in my purse, but that could be for ANYTHING.

Okay, thanks for explaining.

Never did it, don't want to do it. Knowing my luck, I'll get an STD.

The closest thing I ever had to a walk of shame kit was a little bag with a mini deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, eyeliner, random trial sized perfumes, and other mini travel sized things. I kept it in my purse along with a few extra shirts in my car for the random times I would go to hang out with my friend and end up spending the night, and all the times we both had to work the opening shift, so we'd just stay the night at his house.

I've never done a walk of shame because I've never done casual sex, but I always keep a t-shirt, hoodie, pair of flip-flops and some basic toiletries (deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, tampon, lip balm, mascara) in the trunk of my car, because you never know!

I really just had to add that "Swagger of Satisfaction" is definitely the best choice of phrases I've ever heard to describe this.

I didn't coin it, though, Persephone's Addiction did.

I've only done the walk of shame once. I brought a change of clothes and my textbook in case I didn't wake up early enough to get back to my room before class. Yup, it was a school night :3

I'm only familiar with Too Faced brand's Walk of Shame make up kit, which includes a toothbrush, I believe. I don't really engage in activities that would require me to possess a Walk of Shame kit, so this is a pretty interesting thread for me to read

gum, sunglasses, plan b, eyeliner, foundation, bronzer, hair ties, school ID (for the metro) or keys, small water bottle, and five bucks for food/drink to rehydrate... usually because my walks of shame happen after some GNARLY parties haha

I dont have makeup in my car, however I rarely use any.

As far as a walk of shame bag, I guess its more of a my life is crazy Ime prepared bag. It consists of some tools, knife, tomahauk, gun/ammuntion, cash, paper, pens, sports bra, panties, towels, extra id, pay as you go phone with some moeny not much, full set of miltiary cammies a pair of miltiary boots, work boots, socks, boot socks, other military gear, extra phone charger for my regular phone, flashlight, some food and water, first aid kit, burn kit, blanket, hairbrush, tampons, advil, vagisil wipes, razor, other odds and ends and more clothes mainly jeans and tshirts, also jacket and sweatshirt.

then theres the stuff in the back of my truck witch is alot of stuff from chainsaws to a sawzaw to impact wrenches to spare tires to other cars etc

Ok, so maybe between the bag in the back of my car and tools ime over prepared. But at least when we were in the middle of boofoo and my friends car battery died I had an extra siting in the back of my truck. Or the time I was driving home after a good rainstorm and there was a tree stuck in the middle of the road but I had my saw and a towchain.

When my husband was active duty with special forces, he would have a bag with all his gear to deploy by the door ready to go. I mean like everything, balistic vest, helmet, boots, unirforms, holsters, magpauls, knifes etc. If we went some were we would put it in the back of the car just in case.
