variance in Intimate Organics products

Hey everyone,

I have recently gotten pretty into Intimate Organics. In my opinion if Edenfantasys HAD to get rid of all other brands of body products except one I think Intimate Organics would be the one to keep. Amazing stuff, all of it.

The interesting thing is that I've been trying multiple products in different scents, and from jar to jar, tube to tube, it's quite different every time. I've noticed people had said this in other reviews but I'm curious to see what kinds of variation any of you may have noticed?

So far the Body Souffle that I got in the cocoa bean scent is a shimmery but very opaque, bright pollen yellow and looks and feels totally different than other reviews have made it sound. Far from being greasy it actually absorbs quicker than I can apply it evenly across my hands and other body parts. My massage balms have varied too: the lemongrass is very, very grainy and has almost no coconut smell (others have described a pretty strong coconut scent) while my cocoa bean balm is silky smooth with no grains at all. My massage oils have been consistent, however.

How about you? Color, scent, texture variations? I'd be curious to know. For the most part these variations don't make a huge difference but I'm interested to hear other stories.

I haven't tried anything by this company, though after reading reviews I greatly looked forward to getting some. But it bothers me if there is so much variation between batches. I mean, I want to KNOW what I'm getting when I order it.

I've been DYING to try products from this company but haven't gotten around to it yet (probably should... thanks for reminding me ). I'd guess the variance is probably due to the organic and/or all-natural ingredients. I don't see the variances as negative, since to me this shows that the products aren't a "uniform" mass-produced chemical concoction.

@ Selective Sensualist, I am agreeing with kck that I don't really seeing the variation as negative. So far all of the products I've received have been amazing, I just thought it was interesting that they were so different from batch to batch. I definitely think it's because of the organic and/or all-natural ingredients.

I would still recommend trying one, and I would also say start with the massage balm in any scent because it's AMAZING.

Is the massage balm your favorite product of theirs?

@S & L: Thanks for the recommendation. I will DEFINITELY be trying them!

Do you recommend the coconut and lemongrass over all the other scents? That sounds so yummy!

Hmm...my coconut and lemongrass smelled more like lemon meringue. Don't get me wrong; that is a quite a delish scent, but I was hoping for coconut because it's one of my favorite smells. As a result I would say I prefer the cocoa bean and goji, and everyone else seems to unanimously love that one so it's quite a safe bet. Still, they're all reeeally delightful.

Also, kck it totally is! Hands down, the massage balm is close to miraculous.

I will definitely try the massage balm in the cocoa bean/goji!

Have you tried the Ginger/Orange scent?

So far the only thing that I have doubles of is the Cocoa Bean and Goji Berry. I have that scent in both the foot foreplay and the bubble bath. It smelled the same in both for that one. I have to say though that my cocoa bean foot foreplay is not shimmery and not yellow.

My lemongrass and coconut foot foreplay smells more lemony than it does coconut.

Bummer about the not-so-coconut coconut and lemongrass. Coconut is one of my fave things in this world, y'all. Le sigh.

But good to know about the massage balm! Sorry, wallet, but this I must have!
