The common idea is that men do not require a lot of foreplay, once they are erect just go for it, does not hold true for me. I tend to prefer lots of caressing and snuggling followed by some oral play to get me revved up. Even a break, say to get a bite to eat or drink that prolongs the event can be good as long as I do not get the feeling that we might not get right back to the lovemaking soon.
Slow-cooking works best for me, if I can have time to think about things and fantasize about how are going to carry on it fuels my fire and makes me more likely to get off. There have been times when my wife purposely teases me and then just walks away, with a promise of play later...that makes me crazy.....delayed satisfaction can be a powerful tool for getting the other tool working.

I don't really care too much for the main event, and for me to care I need lots of foreplay. I need to get about half and hour to an hour before I can really get into it. Without enough foreplay, sex is just boring and overly long.

My favorite is when its an all day kinda thing, a little here and there to tease throughout the day!
