A while back, I remember reading a study that claimed that the average time spent on a session of foreplay and sex combined was right around 30 minutes, but that seems like barely any time at all. So, what do you think, EF? How much time do you usually spend on foreplay (and sex)?

We're not marathoners - so yes 30 minutes is about right except for Fri or Sat night when we may go on for an hour or so.

It varies greatly. I'd say 30 minutes is a minimum for us for everything. Our max time was something like 20 hours with a few hour long breaks in there to recharge. No sleep or other activities. So yeah, I don't even know what the average would work out to be. Maybe 1-1.5 hours on a normal night?

Generally 20 minutes to an hour. Depends on our overall speed/time.

About half an hour on average. Sometimes he ties me up and we watch a movie or something. When that happens it ends up being at least a couple of hours. If we're having a quickie then it's only a couple of minutes.

Foreplay itself? About 15-20 minutes. Foreplay and sex included? 30-45. Glad to know we're quite normal.

it depends on the wifes mood. she has been in a bad mood for awhile now, I believe it comes from her part time job. We used to spend alot of time on foreplay.

30 Minutes works for us.

30-40 minutes is about average for an entire sex session for us. Foreplay is usually about 1/2 or 2/3 of that time.
