My partner and I have a great sex life in many ways, but foreplay is an issue. I like to have a lot of it. I just love being teased to the max, to the point where I'm begging for it. He gets excited a lot faster than I do, and likes to just "dive in" (sometimes rather literally), but when that happens I don't feel like I've been turned on enough or like he's really paid attention to me.

I don't want to give the wrong-impression. It's not that he's totally self-gratifying or anything like that. I just don't know why it's so hard for him to focus on pleasing me for a while BEFORE sex

I'm ready and more than willing to give him endless foreplay, because I enjoy his body and I enjoy HIS enjoyment, but how do I get him to reciprocate? I've already tried talking to him about it, but I must not be using the right approach.
