I use it to get ideas, but I don't use erotic literature during foreplay because I wouldn't use a textbook during a test. Also, we have a language barrier.

We don't necessarily read books per se but throughout the day I can tell my partner is ready to go when I get some well-written text messages. It's not your normal sexting really but more like role play. It really turns us both on.

I often read it by myself but my partner isn't in to it. He's more a visual person so we'll use porn together. The only time he likes written erotica is when I read it out loud to him and make the appropriate sound effects
