Like if you both have busy lives outside of each other, it's important to at least keep that communication going.

For me, communication and honesty can not stop. Showing appreciation is a must. It's ok to be more "relaxed" around each other but to me, I want to feel special even after we've been together a long time, and I will make them feel special and loved too!
