We were 15 and are still together as for rushing it we were together for 2 years before we had sex.

I thought that's just how it was so I guess I decided to get an early start. Lol. I wish I'd have known then that they do make men who do not require sex for just themselves. I should not have had sex at 13 I don't think anybody could possibly be ready at that age. 13 is still a baby for pete's sake! I don't regret it. I did learn from my mistakes and I wouldn't take it back, but I wish I would have known more about how relationships work and I wish I'd known that sex is not a requirement.

With my girls I just speak candidly and discuss all teenage shows aimed at showing them how relationships work. Some of the shows are just plain criminal in their candy coated messages. I hope my girls feel like I do about their first time and I am so sorry yours was such a rocky start to your sexual life.

16. Don't regret it or think it was rushed. My then boyfriend was really patient and supportive so it was my choice and I felt comfortable about it. I think part of it was when I decided I was ready, it wasn't an in the moment type of deal. We waited a couple weeks after I told him I was ready.

I had just recently turned 23 and he was 21. It was one of the most memorable experiences that I've ever had. He was incredibly gentle, very sweet, and he wasn't a virgin so he knew what to do.. And he also didn't want to hurt me either. We'd tried the previous night but I was a bit too nervous and scared. It did hurt in the end. Not nearly as bad though! It felt great and I've been enjoying his company ever since. I don't think we rushed it at all. We took our time, went slowly, and then went for it when we both knew that I could fully handle him. I love him so dearly for being so gentle <3

I was 16. I'd had a crush on the guy for three years, and he was seven years older than me. (16 is legal in my state) I was thrilled when he started hitting on me and invited me for more. I was even happy to do oral with him - but then he started pressuring me to actually have sex, and I was nervous, but I really wanted him to like me, so I did it, probably before I was ready. I dunno.
