I often joke that they love me more than him, we have a great relationship! Even when me and my bf fight they often take my side lol I get along better with them than I do my own family.

We get along very well, although if his siblings were closer in age to me then we'd probably get along even better. My husband is the youngest of 4 with the oldest being about 13 years older than him. I'm younger than my husband and I'm the oldest. So we don't always have a lot to talk about, but we always get along just fine.

His mother can't stand me, but his dad thinks I'm cool. I feel pretty much the same way about them! I wish we were on better terms.

To be honest I almost find it easier to relate to and get along with my partner's family than with my own (my parents are a little quieter/more socially awkward). We all share a lot of the same interests and get along really well.

I love my boyfriend's family. Me and him have only been together for roughly half a year and me and his family click so well. I get along with his sisters and actually hang with them on a social level not just the i have to get a long with them level. I trully love his family and would actually love to join it one day.

I helped raise his son and we get along pretty well. His dad and I got along great. His stepdad pulled me out of my car wreck and we always got along wonderfully. His mom used to be a great person, but started drinking and is just a horribly negative woman now--not so great anymore. His aunt and I are best friends and his uncle and I get along good. So, pretty well except for his mom--

When I was in a relationship, my partner's family was pretty great. I loved his brothers and his nephew's family. His best friend was also his nephew's mother so she was really important to him. I really loved her, too. Too bad I can't see her anymore. =/

I love them there good people of course we do have our differences but who doesn't and some times they drive me NUTS but I'm sure it just because i spend sooooo much time with them! I work in the family business of which 7 of the 10 people in the office are all related! i see them more often then he does :/

My partner's older sister and I did NOT get along well until we had a class together last semester. She thought I was trying to steal her baby brother in a time when her own relationship was falling apart and saw me as a threat to their relationship. We're okay now though, she actually calls me more than she calls him. And his parents have loved me from the start. They're really great =). And his dad has two degrees in the field I'm going into so we click on that level along with him giving me great career advice. It's very much appreciated even though I still have two years of school left.

I got really lucky and get along great with her family. Not sure they'd be so thrilled if they knew what we got up to, but they love me for being a great influence (in public).

My boyfriend's mother is a odd duck... she says she likes me but her actions and how she talks about me to my boyfriend says otherwise... I don't like her at all. Period. I may have never met her but I can't stand her. His dad is indifferent towards me and I the same.

My husbands parents have been divorced since he was like 7. His dad is awesome and has a girlfriend. His grandma is also awesome. He doesn't have a big family but I hate his mothers side of the family! She's evil. She's single and I seriously think she needs to get laid because she's cranky. She hates me because I don't back down when she talks shit to me.
It seems like she doesn't wanna be involved with us or our daughter! I know she lives in another state but c'mon! My husbands father also lives in another state and is very involved in our lives still. His grandma is too. So no excuses because his mom can at least give us a call every now and then to see how her granddaughter is doing. My husbands 3 older siblings like me but I think one of his sisters doesn't. Oh well! My side of the family loves my husband and that's all that matters to me.
