Forgive

Contributor: Zandrock Zandrock
I just wanted to share something. My partner and I had a big fight the past week. Over the past couple of days we have been upset and not the best. But after spending some time alone I realized I never stopped loving her. So I said I understand we still have somethings to work on. I understand we were both mean, but I apologize and forgive and I feel way way better. Sometimes love can carry you through the relationship. A problem can remain but you can forgive another person. We still intend to address certain issues, but it is far easier to do when both of us are happy and content, not mad and upset. Just my thought. I do not know if anyone else agrees.

I agree, sometimes there are things that really bother you but you have to remember you love each other which should be enough in some cases

Forgiving is easier for me than my wife. She has learned that forgiving means not bringing up the issue again to use it against me when we fight. Since she has been working on this our fights are a lot less volatile. I have also been working on my own issues but that is another discussion.
