If you could give your partner anything, what would it be?

I'm just curious to see what everyone would want to give. I know a lot of the answers will probably be money or perhaps an exquisite vacation, but I know there are some really unique ones out there. Don't limit this to just something they can have; it can be something the two of you share!

I'd want to give my partner a new attitude so that maybe he will go out and get a better job.

Some courage to tell his parents that he's dating a black woman, and some ambition to try out new things.

I wish my partner were in the states so I could do the same. He's in the Marine Corps and stationed in Japan for the next two years.

To get completely out of debt. We can easily live off of what we make comfortably, but not so much with the crazy amount of debt he has accumulated over the past three years.

A happier, less negative outlook on life and all the little things.

He already has my undying love and affection and more sex than he can handle. I hate to go in a mercenary direction, but I would get him completely out of debt and ahead a little. The debt is always on his mind and I know it eats at him. I'd like him to be able to relax more, and not having debt would allow that in a more healthy way.

You crack me up!

I would give my partner a new back. He has spinal injuries that are a result of being hit by a Nissan Pathfinder and a telephone pole in a car accident. He has daily pain due to the 3 bulging disc in his lower back and the metal plates in his neck. When he got his most recent scan done the Dr called him when he was getting dressed and ready to leave the scan. However, they told him that it is beyond repair and he has had a few opinions on this. They also refuse to offer him pain medication and he feels that he is judged on his tattooed look, since it makes him look like he wants "Drugs." So, if I could do anything at all for him, it would be a new back, of course this is not realistic.

It may not be realistic, but it's amazing nonetheless. You're such a sweetheart for wanting to give him a new back. I understand about the medication, though. What state are you in? People in GA can get pain meds (narcotics) in prescriptions for like 200+ a month. :/

My husband has bulging discs too Beck from working at Wal-mart distribution center when we first got married. OF course Wal-mart denies that he hurt it there so we were SOL. You can feel the knots too, but fortunately it's not something as severe as your husband, but when he has his spells its awful. Once when our youngest was a baby he went to pick him up and it spasm'd and he was paralyzed in place and I had to go get the baby from him and help him move.

Sounds like you have an incredible and healthy relationship. Thankfully, my partner isn't in any debt. He's in Japan for two years, so I'm pretty sure I'd like to give him a visit home. Or I'd go see him. But, I'm not financially well enough to do that. :/

I totally understand. My partner and I aren't in debt, but I've seen my parents in debt. It's a really had thing to live with, especially if the debtors are calling you all of the time. My parents eventually filed for bankruptcy.

I'd really like to take my partner all over the world. She really enjoys different areas and cultures and I'd love to travel with her and see the world.
