I met her in college, but we spend most of our first time together because we started our relationship at colleges 4 hours apart.

We met in high school, french class, he was failing and I was assigned to help him, not cool. lol But in the end it all worked out, and he passed the class!

We were informed by our teacher that there would be no co-ed pairing during oral presentations and Sigel looked her straight in the eye and said "I don't do oral with another guy!" I met my fiance on myspace 3yrs ago, thought she was cute &added her &it went from there. We actually only live 10mins away from each other &had never met before then.

Unmarried--met through a friend during college (we're both still in college). Almost two years together now!

He was my New Years' Eve kiss three years ago. My cousin, a friend and I went to a bar by my house close to midnight; my SO thought our male friend was a guy he knew so they struck up a conversation. The friend asked my SO if he "liked Mexican girls" and introduced us, LOL. He blew me away with his kiss, stuck by my side for the night, I took him home and the rest is history! Now I can't get rid of him! LOL

I met my man though friends, but it wasn't an intentional setup. I used to live in an apartment with two other women; one girl's boyfriend was going to shoot the pilot episode for a TV show in town, and he needed a place for a writer to stay just one night. I woke up one morning to find a "cute writer guy" on my sofa bed, and when I returned from work that afternoon, we sat together and chatted and ended up finally striking a common chord with our love of literature and Concord, Massachusetts. Luckily the people he was going to stay with the next two weeks had to cancel, so he remained in our apartment.

That meeting will have been two years ago this February. While the show they were shooting has been put on the backburner, he and I have been friends and progressively lovers since then.

My husband was actually my very first and my second boyfriend best friend. He tried as hard as he could for 3 years to "woo" me and finally won me over. Lol!

At another person's wedding. I met my current fiance when I was marrying her sister. Sounds messed up, I know. Please consider, though, that my first wife (her sister) and I divorced after she had an affair, and became pregnant with another man's child. Fifteen years passed, and I met her in a medical office. It wasn't out of revenge or anything stupid that we started dating. We genuinely love each other. Weird? Yah. I wouldn't expect anything less out of my life, though.

Two options applied to me. I met my partner in college at my first ever GSA meeting. I come from a small town where "such things" are not discussed. We've been together since September 19, 2010 and our first anniversary fell on a meeting date for our group, which I'm now the secretary of. We celebrated with a nice dinner followed by a meeting with all of our LGBTQIA friends =)
