I'm 21 and never said it so I just wanted to know.
How old were you when you first told someone you loved them?

17 years old. It was my first love.

Never have...
04/16/2012
17.
04/16/2012
I think around 16.
04/16/2012
15 and stupid....oh so naive.
04/16/2012
17 but looking back at it, it wasn't real love. First time I said it and looking back meant it, 19 or 20 probably.
04/16/2012
Fifteen.
04/16/2012
I was 17.
04/16/2012
I was 14.

17? I think? It's odd, I've been with my boyfriend for over three years and we can't remember the first time we said "I love you" it just kinda happened, it just felt natural.

15, I think. Maybe 16. I meant it, and don't regret it.
04/16/2012
14, he was my first kiss and I truly did have deep feelings for him. I don't regret it.
04/16/2012
I was 17, he was 18.
04/16/2012
I was 16... and didn't have a clue.
05/14/2012
16 or 17 I suppose.
05/14/2012
16 and dumb

Minus elementary school crushes, I would have to say 13. I was young and foolish back then looking back on it.

I was a very serious kid and teen (maybe a little TOO serious), and I knew for sure I didn't love anyone, and that that was Serious Business to say that. I didn't tell anyone that until I was 23, and I'm still with the people I told that too.

22 or 23. I had wanted to say it for a while at that point, but he was always saying how he couldn't understand people who throw the term around loosely because he thought (like me) that it should be something you truly mean, and I didn't want to scare him off, (we had been together anywhere from 9 months to over a year at the time). One night he (finally!) came out and said it in the middle of some crazy sex, and I almost lost it!
I guess it was worth it, though, seeing as I married the guy.

It's only been a few years since then, but I was 20 when I first said "I love you" and actually meant it. It took a lot for me to actually say it to that person at the time. I was extremely nervous, hesitant, and a bit worried, especially since I was telling my best friend that I loved him and at the time we still hadn't met in person either. I don't regret telling him. Not at all. After telling him I felt so much better to finally have my feelings out in the open and learned later that he shared (some) of those feelings too. We're no longer together (as boyfriendxgirlfriend at least) and he was my first love. We're still best friends though, thankfully! Now I'm with a man who loves me for my all, doesn't miss a beat at saying he loves me, and I know he means it.

Fifteen, to my high school boyfriend.
05/20/2012
I was fifteen, but didn't realize I didn't mean it.
I first said and meant it when I was 17.
