I'm not sure I understand. Does being in a relationship mean you never get to masturbate on your own anymore? All my relationships have involved both partnered sex and solo masturbation. Why can't you have both?

Just the question I was going to ask.

I totally agree. In fact I think your relationship will be better off if you did take some ME time.

I agree with the comments above me--you CAN have both, all you have to do is make some time for yourself. Have you thought of bringing up toy play with him?

I've been married for 9 years and it's been almost a year now that I've come to EF and started self pleasing. I'm Soooooooooooooooooo much happier and less uptight. We have boundaries, no realistic looking penis, but vibes are fine. I usually use them after our sessions together because he doesn't bring me to the brink of orgasm. If I went my entire life without an orgasm I'd go crazy so vibes are a good thing for me.

I love your no realistic penises rule. "cute" toys are so much easier to share with your SO (unless he has a kink for that sort of thing!). I love using an external vibe during sex.

And of course I love using it on my own, too! I feel this is when my waterproof vibes come in most handy!

I don't understand not being able to use vibes either. I use mine in bed with my husband and when I'm alone.

Sorry I don't feel this way as I use my vibes and dildos in or out of a relationship. If my partner disapproves of my toys I simply tell them I will just use them when they aren't around. They are not there to replace your other half its there to enhance your sexual pleasures as well as helping you learn what you like and don't like.

No, not all of my needs are met by my husband, so I need my toys.
