We've been together for 2 years and are planning on getting married after grad school in 2015 So far so good!

Date for 5 years . . . check calendar . . . 10 months and 21 days before getting engaged, with the wedding planned . . . check calendar again for 2 years and 28 days after that (we are less than a year to the wedding now) for a total of 7 years 11 months and 19 days.

We dated for 9 months 8 and were engaged for 10month and in 2 1/2 weeks were will be celebrating our 4yr wedding anniversary.

Honestly it depends on the person. So many people I know wait YEARS and some only wait months or weeks. All depends. For me we were engaged in a matter of months of dating but had known each other intimately on and off for years.

We had dated for 9 months almost 10 years ago, within a few months of being back together we were planning our wedding and almost 2 years after getting back together we were married. Been married now for almost 8 months.

We were together for many years, but I was only 16 when I started dating him, so we waited until I was done with University. Although he's older than me, he was ready when I was finished with College.

We've been dating for almost a year, and he said we're going to be engaged soon. I don't think we're going to get married too soon. Probably in a couple years. We're both pretty excited for it though.
