Did you have a Touchy-Feely stage?

Contributor: Mwar Mwar
When my guy and I are out or around new people, they tend to think we've only been with each other a short while (and not a few years). Often, they say it's because we touch each other a lot. We're generally conservative with our PDA, but we are generally always touching in some, if small way. My friends say our touching is just a phase that will pass, but we both are very close people, it's second nature for us.

Which leads to my question: did you have a "touchy feely" stage? Has it toned down a bit or is it still there? What are your takes on it?

We're still in it, and have been for many, many years. We like to touch each other. I don't think I've ever had anyone complain that we were too touchy-feely or that it was just a phase we were going through.

I'm big on physical touch. I haven't had anyone complain (yet!) but I'm also respectful. We hold hands and each other but we don't go as far as grabbing each other's boobs in public. XD

I prefer keeping the pda to a minimum.

Yep, but it comes and goes. We usually tend to hold hands when traveling though

We are very touchy feely. We've been together almost 5 years and still almost always hold hands in public. When we're contemplating an item at the store, its not uncommon for him to hug me from behind. I think its really healthy to behave this way and we do so in front of our children (although I know some who will not kiss or anything in front of their children). We are always snuggly and will kiss (although we don't make out or touch each other in overtly sexual ways in front of the kids LOL)

We've been together for 3 and a half years, and still hold hands everywhere. When we stop, he'll hug me and kiss the top of my head. We never grew out of the phase. I think it's wonderful to have :]

Definitely still touchy feely after over a year and a half. We hold hands in public and exchange pecks on the cheeks and lips every so often. Nothing too out there though, we're still respectful of other people and kids around us. I'll snuggle his arm sometimes, like if we're sitting next to each other when eating out with friends or family or when we're shopping. Just little things like that. I especially like to be close to him and holding his hand when we're in large crowds or if its dark. It makes me feel safe

Definitely initially
it has ebbed and flowed over our 13 years, lovely when it happens!
