The best way for Mr to guarantee a good day for me and to improve his "chances" (not that he needs "chances" but sometimes stress can destroy the sex drive) is to brew the coffee in the morning. If he manages the dishes the night before so I have nothing pressing to take care of in the morning, all the better!

Waking up to a pot of coffee is one of my favorite things ever!

i love romantic gestures but definitely would't want something over the top

I would not say I am romantic. I do not want candles and roses. When it comes to simple and sweet things I would prefer something cute and cuddly, like a teddy bear, and coloring books. I do not want nor need fancy, expensive things in order to feel loved or wanted.
